Horsford is a large village on the B1149 a few miles to the North of Norwich. It doubled in size with a large development in the 1980’s and now has a population of over 4,000. It has a range of local shopping facilities, public houses, a post office and two schools. The large village hall complex and playing field and the nearby church room host a wide variety of social activities.
The Parish Council has twelve seats and employs the Clerk on a part time basis.
The Council meets at the Village Hall at 7.15 p.m. on the first Monday of each month (except September and January unless urgent business dicates otherwise). If this falls on a Bank Holiday it meets on the Tuesday.
