Council meetings

The Council have been concerned for some time that some of their meetings have low attendances due to holidays and very little on the agenda. This is predominantly because officers at district and county levels of local government are also taking holidays at this time and communications are minimal during peak holiday times. This also applies of course to parishioners. Other Councils in the area have ten or eleven meetings a year for exactly the same reasons. As a consequence the Parish Council have resolved not to meet on the first Monday of September or January unless urgent business dictates otherwise.
